Founded by Jess in Ōtautahi Christchurch, Teleport began as a seed of inspiration during a solo journey through Asia. Jess had taken a sabbatical from her career in brand management, product sales and recruitment to reconnect with her nomadic spirit, explore new places and spend more time in nature. The experience awakened a desire to create something with authentic purpose.
Teleport came to life as Jess’s quiet rebellion against digital noise and the constant pressure to be productive. It offered a way to bring creativity back into her own busy life and a reason to pause the endless scroll, create with her hands and feel present again.
Guided by nature, travel and a sense of wonder, the collections draw inspiration from sea-washed coastlines, deep forests, mountain trails and the changing light of the natural world.
