Perfectly sized for sauces, salt, trinkets, or treasured jewellery, each plate is hand-made and finished by Cathy Ellegard at Te Atamira, where she works as part of the Wakatipu Potters Group.
Cathy’s ceramic journey began in Auckland during her design studies, where she first encountered the art of slip casting. After moving to Queenstown, she rediscovered her love for clay finding new inspiration in the textures of nature and the clean lines of modernist architecture.
These plates reflect her signature balance of organic charm and refined detail. Whether used in the kitchen or on a bedside table, they bring a quiet beauty to the spaces we hold close.
