About Cathy Ellegard:
Cathy's ceramic journey began during her design studies in Auckland, where she was introduced to slip casting. She rediscovered pottery after moving to Queenstown and joining the Wakatipu Potters group. Influenced by modernist architecture and nature, her work balances organic textures with refined details, ranging from tableware to sculptural vases that celebrate function and form.
