Originally from Bordeaux, France, Naora (Ann Goncalves) combines her lifelong passions for wine and art in a truly unique way. After teaching herself watercolour painting, she began experimenting with wine as a medium, discovering an uncommon technique that she developed through years of practice.
Inspired by sustainability, Naora first created her artworks using leftover wines that would otherwise have been discarded. Today, each piece is painted with wines from Aotearoa New Zealand, celebrating the rich colours and subtle variations found in different grape varieties and vintages. Her work transforms an everyday drink into expressive, one-of-a-kind works of art.
