Sally is a self-taught artist based in Queenstown. Her work seeks to capture the feeling of
a place, scene or moment in time. Sally’s inspiration is drawn from architecture, travel,
nature and everyday items that fill our lives with quiet beauty.
Form, texture, colour and pattern also greatly influence her work.
Sally primarily paints with gouache, a wonderfully versatile medium that brings both
softness and vibrancy to her work. Touches of mixed media are added for extra depth and
detail.
A desire to share her original paintings beyond the studio, has led to the creation of her
range of greeting cards and fine art prints. By transforming her original art into digital form,
Sally continues to explore new ways of sharing her artistic vision and creativity with others.
