Cellulose biodegradable cloth, hand printed by Kate Watts in Dunedin, New Zealand.
What makes Cellulose extra special is that it's fibers come from plants that are processed into a pulp and then extruded in the same ways that synthetic fibers like polyester or nylon are made. Making you, your dishes and mother earth happy!
Kate is inspired by the natural world – she will often stop and take pictures of flowers and leaves wherever she is, watching the changing forms and colours as the seasons change. She is also influenced by vintage textiles and wallpapers, old letters, and found objects like feathers and seed pods
