Pottery For The Poles Mugs

Based in Glenorchy, this ceramic artist has been creating since 2022, inspired by the mountains and unique landscapes of Aotearoa.

Her journey into ceramics began after taking her first pottery course at Te Atamira. What started as a creative outlet while living remotely on the West Coast and raising a family soon grew into a career.

Each piece is carefully handmade through a slow and considered process, from preparing and throwing the clay to trimming, adding handles, glazing and firing at temperatures of up to 1250°C. The result is beautiful, durable ceramics designed to last.

Her work aims to capture a sense of place, celebrating the distinctive landscapes and topography of New Zealand and inviting us to carry a little piece of the mountains home.

With a background and connection to Antarctica, she is also passionate about Antarctic preservation and has certified her brand with 1% for the Planet, supporting efforts to raise awareness and protect this remarkable environment.
